Lodge Rooms & Suites

Our lodge rooms and suites are built from timber and stone, with deep window seats that open toward the ridge and beds dressed for cold mountain nights. Each room carries a pressed key number, a wool blanket chest and a small writing desk for guests who like to keep a journal of the trail. The suites add a sitting room, a private bath and a fireplace that is laid and ready before you arrive. Housekeeping visits daily, and quiet hours begin early so the house sleeps as soundly as the mountain around it.

Trailhead Breakfast Service

Long before the sun clears the ridge, our kitchen sets a trailhead breakfast for guests who plan to walk early. We pack warm bread, boiled eggs, dried fruit, cheese and a flask of coffee into a canvas satchel, and we hand it to you at the porch door with a route card for the day. Guests who prefer to sit down may take the full breakfast in the dining hall with a view of the peaks. The service runs in every season, and it is included for lodge guests who reserve the night before.

Guided Ridge Walks

Our guided ridge walks leave the lodge in small parties with a local guide who knows the weather and the ground. There are gentle walks along the lower shoulder and longer routes that climb to the open ridge for a view of the whole valley. Guides carry a first aid kit, a map and a spare lantern, and they set a pace that suits the slowest member of the party. Every walk ends with tea at the porch, where tired boots can dry beside the stove and stories can settle into the evening.

Seasonal Cabin Stays
